The Prize-winning Entry 2006
This was our entry for the Sherborne Vase. This is a competition for groups and this year it was for a bag and contents.
We knitted a beach bag with the bikini, top hat and towel to go into it. Then we started on the really interesting items. All the things in the pictures are knitted. These include the sun tan lotion, the mp3, the phone and even the money in the knitted purse and the frames of the sun glasses. Everyone had something to do with it even if it was only ideas but the main designers and knitters were Janice, Norma, Sandra and Elaine. We welcome comments but don't try and text us on the knitted mobile phone!
