The Middlesex Machine Knitters(MMKs) meet on the second Wednesday of every month from 1.30 until 3.30 in an upstairs room at Hounslow Community Association Hall, Montague Road, Hounslow. We discuss all aspects of machine knitting, learn new techniques and show off our latest creations (good and bad). It is run by Elaine Cater. New members are always welcome. December Show and Tell 3

Elane made this scarf to demonstrate the mock hairpin lace effect. It is made in narrow strips which are then linked together using a latch hook. It is very suitable for scarves, shawls, stoles on inset as a panel in a garment.
