Cardigans
In the last post in November we talked about knitting cardigans. At least 2 of our members brought in examples this month.
This first one was made by Brenda for her charity stall and is hand knitted using DK yarn. The photo doesn't do it justice as the colour in not a good match - it was a lovely maroon red. It would also have helped if I had straightened the collar properly but I did not notice until I uploaded the photo by which time it was too late. Sorry Brenda.

This one is a lady's model and was made by Janice. Using a fairisle pattern for the back and fronts and plain sleeves is a way of using up part cones of yarn.
The pattern is a fairly straight-forward two colour fairisle with a 24 stitch repeat which could be worked on most standard gauge knitting machines.
